NICK CROUDACE GIFireE
TEAM LEADER

Nick Croudace has in-depth knowledge and cross industry sector experience in height safety, technical access and rescue.


Nick has over 22 years operational experience and is a serving Firefighter with Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service.


Nick is also the Director and Training Manager of Intervention Rescue Group Limited. Intervention Rescue provides technical rescue and industrial safety training in the United Kingdom as well as consultancy, rescue team cover and equipment supply.

PAUL HARDMAN
RESCUE ATTENDANT

Paul has in-depth knowledge in Rope Access & confined space operational services.

Paul has been in the rope access industry for nearing 20 years and has been an IRATA level 3 Supervisor for over 15 years.

He has vast experience and has operated in the following sectors;

- Offshore instillations
- Wind energy
- Power generation
- Telecoms industry
- Ride and attraction industry
- Commercial and residential sector

PETER HANCOCK
RESCUE / EDGE ATTENDANT

Pete has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the vertical world and specifically in the industrial rope access sector. 

Pete’s career started nearly 20 years ago as a rope access technician and he has been involved in major projects all over the UK.

Including;
- Restoration works of Big Ben,
- Maintenance works on Warwick Castle,
- Transforming the OXO Tower for the launch of PS4,
- Maintenance of Glasgow’s Science Centres 127m high tower.

JAMES HOLLINGSWORTH
RIGGER

James is an experienced operator in rope access, industrial climbing and confined space entry operations.

A varied work history has made James the technician he is today.

Construction, Facilities, Offshore Oil & Gas, Renewable Wind, Energy from Waste and Power plants, Silos, Bridges, Masts and Towers, Shopping centres and heritage sites all areas where he has provided access solutions.

He has been lucky enough to learn from the good guys in the industry and this reflects in his attitude and technical knowledge as well being an advocate of clean rigging.

ALEX TILLEY
RIGGER

Alex Tilley has in-depth knowledge in Technical Rescue and has been involved with Rope and Confined Space Rescues, USAR, Heavy Rescue, Large Animal, Water and Powerboat Rescue. 

Alex has over 22 years operational experience as a serving firefighter with both London Fire Brigade and Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue.

Alex is currently serving as a Watch Commander at the training academy with Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue and is a Rescue 3 Instructor and Instructor Trainer teaching Rope and Confined Space Rescue, Water and Powerboat Rescue to all their operational staff.

CLIVE BUSH
TEAM ASSESSOR

Clive has in-depth knowledge in rope access & height safety within the Police and mountain rescue and has over 21 years operational experience as a Police Officer and is serving with Avon & Somerset Police.

He is responsible for training and maintaining the Police Rope Access team and all training in relation to height Safety, from Rifle officers, CSI (Crime scene Investigators) Hostage Negotiators, Protestor Removal at Height and also delivers Rope Access Courses to other Police Forces to give them the capability of a Police Rope Access team

MARIE-ELLEN SUSEK
TEAM CASUALTY

Finally the most important team member, Marie is the team casualty.

Marie originally started working at height in 2009 on high ropes courses and is now an experienced rope access operator first qualifiing as an IRATA technician 2018 in New Zealand.

She works operationally in the UK and is also a member of the London Eye Intervention and Rescue team.

She loves being part of the Grimp Events as she feels it is a fantastic experience.
