All training we provide at Intervention Rescue is compliant with UK legislation and the British Standard 8454 - Code of practice for delivery and education at work at height and rescue.
Fall Protection Training
Basic Harness Fitting and Use - Half Day

Safety training for individuals required to use basic fall protection methods and PPE when working at height.
Using Height and Safety Equipment - 1 Day
​
Candidates are exposed to a range of equipment suitable to their needs and site structures, also using PPE to access and work at height whilst ensuring continuous protection by using either work restraint, work positioning or fall arrest methods.
Rope Access Technical Skills (BS ISO 22846 Compliant) - 1 - 4 Days

This training is specifically for established rope rescue teams that want to enhance their access abilities. Our instructors are industry-leading rope access experts with many years of operational experience on a variety of structures and environments including the UK's tallest and most prominent landmarks. We offer mobile technical rope access training support, to show you the safest, efficient and effective methods.
Rescue From Height Training
Emergency Evacuation By Self Descent - Half Day

Rescue From Height - Half Day

This training teaches candidates how to effectively use a simple lifting and lowering rescue kit to recover a stranded person on a fall arrest system.
Tower Crane Tall Structure Rescue Operator
- 1 Day
​
On-site training to enable rescue team operators to execute an effective rescue plan and safely recover the casualty to safety. This complies with requirements of Construction Plant hire Association technical note TIN013 'Rescue of personnel From Height on Tower Cranes'.
Tower Crane - Jib Access and Rescue - 1 Day
​
This course is to give tower crane operatives and other responsible site personnel the skills and confidence to carry out a rescue from the tower crane jib and other exposed tower crane locations and ensure full rescue provision.

Confined Space Training
Basic Awareness - Half Day
​
This course is designed to provide individuals with the principles of confined space awareness and the legal requirements. It is for those who are required to work with or near confined spaces but do not need to gain access.
Access and Rescue - Escape BA - 2 Days
​
This course is for operators who will be required to gain access into confined space environments, without the use of a self-contained breathing apparatus. Candidates are trained to understand the associated risks and legal duties to operate to a safe system of work. Candidates will also be trained to use gas monitors for atmospheric testing and escape breathing apparatus sets as well as safe and effective access and rescue.
